Clinic Policies

We are committed to providing high-quality orthodontic care in a professional and comfortable environment. Please review our policies to ensure a smooth experience at our clinic.

1. Appointment & Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer the slot to another patient.

Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee.

Repeated missed appointments may impact your treatment progress and scheduling priority.

2. Patient Confidentiality & Privacy

We comply with the Health Information Privacy Code (New Zealand) to ensure your personal and medical information remains confidential.

Your records will only be shared with other healthcare providers involved in your treatment with your consent.

If you need copies of your records, please submit a request in writing.

3. Payment & Insurance Policy

Flexible payment plans are available—please discuss options with our team.

Patients who choose to pay in full at the start of treatment receive an administrative courtesy discount on the total fee. By paying in full, you help reduce our administrative costs, and we are pleased to pass these savings on to you.

4. Treatment Compliance

Orthodontic success depends on patient cooperation. Please follow all instructions regarding appliance wear, oral hygiene, and dietary guidelines.

Regular check-ups and adjustments are essential. Missed or delayed appointments may prolong your treatment time.

5. Emergency & Urgent Care

If you experience a broken bracket, loose wire, or significant discomfort, contact us for advice. We will schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

For severe dental emergencies (trauma, infection, severe pain), please contact your general dentist or an emergency dental clinic.
