“I started my orthodontic clinic because I noticed a growing need for orthodontic care in New Zealand. With limited specialists available, many patients were facing long wait times—sometimes months—before they could even begin treatment. Seeing this gap in service, I felt a strong responsibility to bring my expertise to the community and help expand access to quality orthodontic care.
For me, orthodontics isn’t just about straightening teeth—it’s about treating the whole person. I believe in a holistic approach that considers not just aesthetics, but also function, airway health, and overall well-being. Every patient’s journey is unique, and I’m committed to providing personalised care that improves both their smile and quality of life.

Dr. Adriana Perez
SPECIALIST ORTHODONTIST
(B.D.S SANTA MARIA) | (M.D.S ORTHO BUENOS AIRES)
Adriana is a Specialist Orthodontist currently based in Auckland, New Zealand. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, her journey in dentistry began in 2008 when she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Santa Maria University.
Throughout her career, she has accumulated diverse experiences, from private practice to contributing to the Dentistry/Orthodontics unit at the Orthopaedic Children’s Hospital. Her commitment to education led her to serve as a lecturer at the National Experimental University of the Armed Forces, for the dental technician career.
In 2011, she pursued specialisation in Argentina, earning a Specialist Orthodontist degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 2013. During her time there, she took on roles as a part-time lecturer at the Orthodontics Department and in private practice. She also had the privilege of providing care to cleft lip patients at the Craniofacial Unit in the Paediatric Hospital Garrahan. She also completed her qualifications in Spain.

Dr. Perez is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist in Venezuela, Spain, and New Zealand, bringing a diverse and well-rounded approach to orthodontic care.
Her academic journey began with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Santa María University in Venezuela, followed by Specialist Orthodontist training at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Dr. Perez is also qualified as a dentist in Spain through the Ministry of Education, adding to her broad international credentials.
In addition to conventional orthodontic treatment, she has received further specialised training in the management of cleft lip, palate, and syndromic patients, allowing her to provide expert care for complex cases that require multidisciplinary coordination.

Beyond orthodontics, Dr. Perez enjoys staying active by hiking, going to the gym, and exploring the outdoors. She also has a passion for gaming.
Chantaras “Gift”
ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT
Originally from Thailand, Gift has been living in New Zealand for over six years. She completed her Bachelor of Nursing Science in Thailand in 2013 and has experience working in various healthcare settings, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Room (ER), general health check-ups, and beauty clinics.
Gift has a strong interest in orthodontic care and is currently training as an orthodontic assistant, working alongside specialist orthodontist Adriana.
Her passion for healthcare and the joy of seeing patients smile after treatment inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. Gift is fluent in Thai and enjoys working with teenagers and young children. In her free time, she loves watching Netflix, exploring new foods, and shopping.
